Sorry for the corny title lol. Hayao Miyazaki of Studio Ghibli makes food look so delicious (as if we needed help with that) and I don't care what these products taste like... I need them. First there are the Sakuma Drops from the heart wrenching Grave of the Fireflies. Then there is the Morinaga Milk Caramel that dates back to the Meiji period which was featured in the short film Mei and the Kitten Bus (Mei to Koneko no Bus), the sequel to Totoro that's shown at the Ghibli Museum. Last but not least, is the century old Kasugai kompeito star-shaped candy that Kamaji feeds to the soot sprites in Spirited Away.
Need something to drink? I had to also feature these adorable green tea cups and sake set from Heisei Tanuki Gassen Ponpoko ( Raccoon Battle ). Click any image above or below to buy!

Oh~! I got my mom the Grave of the Fireflies fruit drops when I was in Tokyo last year. But she hasn't even opened them yet hehe!
I have a bag of the Konpeito stars in the cupboard but I can't finish them, they are just pure sugar! haha
Awesome! I would love to try the Sakuma Drops because Grave of the fireflies is my favorite movie!
