Your Old Toys Light the Way

Kim Songhe reminds us our childhood toys are where the love of cute began. Its a shame old toys are thrown out before we realize their virtue. Damn you Mom!!! My Barbie Ice Cream shop would have made an awesome chandelier!! If only you had the foresight and vision... Anyway, these chandeliers are an ode to refashioning memories for the sake of preservation and staying cooooool. (Thanks Pretty Pretty Yum Yum!!)

These look like the lamps in a bar in Budapest called Csendes! It's decorated with old toys and lamps made of old toys~ I don't have great photos but here are some ^u^

Interesting idea. I would just worry about it starting a fire though being right next to the hot bulb. :-)

This is not just cute, this is a super smart idea!
I'm glad I still keep all my fluffy toys from when I was a child (I couldn't throw them away even if I wanted D:)
I can't wait to move out and get something like this done! haha

Sakie and Thomas Gantz - I had that same thought... maybe we should ask the artist how she avoids such a thing! lol

Sasa - I bet you will turn your home into something so fabulous when you move!
