Hello Kitty is a Real Girl For Glico Campaign

Let's be real here folks, how on earth does this campaign make sense!?! How is hello kitty dressed up with her human twin making any sense for this chocolate campaign!? It must be because I can't read Japanese. Oh but how cute. Cute before reason... always. Click here for official site.

It's a chocolate commercial? I thought it was a clothing ad...-3-
Still, it's so cute and I love it! ^-^

I love Rie-chan. I had a crush on her 20 years ago when I first lived in Japan. She still looks beautiful. The ad is saying that (in typical Japanese unclear fashion) that "I've become an adult as has Kitty-chan" so the Kitty figure is supposed to be all grown up type and Glico is the chocolate company, so I guess they are trying to market the chocolate to fans of Kitty who are now adults. (But still have some of their love of Kitty-chan from childhood left. I know it doesn't make sense, but most Japanese advertising doesn't, lol.
